Women love romance and love to be romanced. Men love to show romance in “over-the-top ways.” Let TITANIC IMPACT PERFORMANCE EXHIBITIONS provide that over the top romantic evening.

Imagine surprising your sweetheart with a trip back in time, aboard the RMS Titanic, for dinner in the First Class Dining Saloon. Hear the stringed quartet play all the most popular music of the era. Feast on the delicious courses served in the restaurant on the last night of Titanic’s voyage, including Chicken Lyonnaise and chocolate éclairs with French vanilla ice cream.

Here’s how it will transpire.

Husbands and Boyfriends will ask their Wives and Girlfriends to dress in their best gowns and jewels, and expect “A night to remember.” Some of the men will serve as chauffeurs and pick up the ladies and deliver them to the venue location, where each woman will be introduced as “Lady Smith” or “The Countess of Jones.” The rest of the men will serve as butlers and seat the ladies as they arrive, while the stringed quartet (or a CD) plays Edwardian tunes. Once everyone is seated, the men will serve the ladies each course, serving themselves last, so that they might enjoy their repast with their ladies.

At this point, Miss Kyrila Scully will perform as “Molly Brown” or one of many other women of the RMS Titanic, sharing that famed story from the perspective of that character. Miss Scully will also display hundreds of items from her personal collection of Titanic artifacts, film props and ephemera. She is also available to answer questions throughout the evening.

When dinner is finished, the men will return to their servitude and clear the tables. Dancing may ensue during and after dinner, if desired. Once the tables are cleared and the dancing is over, the men will seat their wives and gather in a line across the room. The president of the group, or the pastor of the church, will lead the men by sharing a few words about the night Titanic sank, and tell of some of the brave acts shown by some of the male passengers as they placed their wives and children into the lifeboats, knowing they might go down with the ship. Then each man in turn will share publicly his devotion to his own wife and family and his commitment to protect them even at the sacrifice of his own life.

I guarantee there will not be many dry eyes in the room after these testimonies.

If you would like to employ such an event for your group or church, please contact Miss Scully at 407-473-1171.

Please note that it is possible to rent or purchase china settings like the china used aboard Titanic.
